Jim Koelln offers over 30 years experience in developing
young racing stock and keeping racehorses in top condition all season.
Horses in his stable thrive on the quality care and individual attention
he gives them. Before moving to BC in 1990 Jim was head trainer for well
known Ontario horseman Doug McIntosh (trainer of 2000 Hambeltonian winner
"Yankee Paco"), as well as being amoungst the top conditioners in
Alberta in the early to mid 80's.
In recent years he has put new life marks on a number of horses including Scruffian, 1:56.1, Cly Tie, 156.1 Bo Runner N, 156.4 and Just Outstanding (see opposite page) amoung others. Jim's greatest satisfaction comes from starting yearlings and conditioning them for the races. Partnerships are available and Jim is now accepting yearlings for breaking & training as well as racehorses.
